Set Up in Microsoft Outlook

Outlook for Windows / Mac

  1. Open Outlook and go to File → Add Account (Windows) or Outlook → Preferences → Accounts (Mac).
  2. Enter your new email address and click Connect (or Add Account).
  3. If Outlook does not detect the settings automatically, or asks for an account type, choose IMAP and enter:
    • Incoming mail server (IMAP): the host shown on your account page's Mail app settings card. Port 993, SSL.
    • Outgoing mail server (SMTP): the same host. Port 465, SSL (port 587 with STARTTLS also works).
    • Username: your full email address.
    • Password: your mailbox password, the one you set.
  4. Enter your mailbox password, grant Outlook access, and you're done.

Outlook Web (outlook.com)

Outlook.com can connect most outside mailboxes over IMAP, using the same server settings above. If that does not work, use the desktop app instead.
